A user represents one Spoke Zone user account and is tied to a specific organization account.
- Open the navigation menu.
- Select the Users item.
- Double-click the desired user.
- Create a new user by clicking the

The user editor page has two sections for specifying info about a user and their access permissions.
Organization and Primary Contact settings are not visible to clients, and only users with write permissions can edit settings; see the organization roles.
The user's first name and last name are combined to create the display name by which they are identified on the platform.
- First Name
- Enter the first name of the user.
- Last Name
- Enter the last name of the user.
- Email
- Enter the email address to contact the user at.
- Phone Number
- Enter a phone number at which the user can be reached.
- Organization
- Select the organization the user is associated with.
- Primary Contact
- Toggle whether the user is the first point of contact for their organization.
- Reset Password
- Trigger a password reset email.
Only users with write permissions can edit settings. Read-only users cannot edit devices, dashboards, reports, etc.
- User Permissions
- Specify whether the user can make changes to features they have access to or only view them.
- MQTT Permissions
- Specify whether the user can both publish and receive MQTT messages on a dashboard or receive only.
- Current Status
- Toggle the status of the user.
- Locking a user prevents them from signing in to the platform.
