Runtime Tracking

The Runtime Tracking section in the device diagnostics page shows MQTT history only for devices whose diagnostics level is set to debug.

It currently displays the previous week of history. A gap of five minutes or more between MQTT messages is treated as the start of an offline period.

How It Works

  • The MQTT observer records history only for devices in debug diagnostics level.
  • The observer stores that history as mqtt-history data files.
  • The diagnostics page turns those files into online and offline periods.
